Cookie Policy (United Kingdom)

Last updated: 13 July 2026 · Version uk-1.0

This is the UK version. Our use of cookies is governed by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and the UK GDPR.

In short

The Jabba app itself runs without tracking. On our public website (getjabba.com) we use just two kinds of cookies: the ones the site needs to work, and — if you say yes — analytics cookies that help us make Jabba better. It's your choice, and you can change your mind any time.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They're used to make the site work and to give us a picture of how it's used. We use related technology such as "local storage" the same way, and we refer to all of it as "cookies" here.

Under PECR, we may store cookies on your device without consent only where they are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for. All other cookies — including analytics — are set only with your consent.

This policy covers cookies on our public website. How we handle information inside the app itself is described in our privacy policy.

Essential cookies (no consent needed)

These are needed for the site to work and can't be turned off. They don't track you.

Supabase sessionIf you log in, a secure session cookie keeps you signed in.Session

Analytics cookies (only with your consent)

If you say yes, we use PostHog (hosted in the EU) to see visits and which pages get used, so we can measure and improve the website. This also includes anonymised session recordings of how the marketing pages are used (mouse movement, clicks and scrolling) — everything you type, such as your name, email or password, is always hidden and never recorded. This data isn't tied to an account or to your child, and we never sell it.

If you say no, these cookies aren't set and no analytics happen.

Managing your choices

You can change your consent any time using the "Cookie settings" button on this page. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, and we'll ask again next time. Because analytics cookies are consent-based under PECR, saying no leaves you with only the essential cookies above.

Questions and complaints

If you have any questions about our use of cookies, you're welcome to email us at privacy@cognitionsoftware.dk. You can also complain to the UK regulator, the Information Commissioner's Office (www.ico.org.uk), which enforces PECR.
